Sustainable, well considered design is something that we take very seriously, which is why we were so lucky to be involved in the Two Apartment House, designed and created by Carla Karsakis of Etica Studio. In this beautiful multi-dwelling build, Carla created two apartments with two very distinct aesthetics. The ground floor, we used a beautiful light palate with a feature Oak Herring Bone island bench, with a concealed European Laundry and office, gives the apartment a feeling of refined simplicity. The upper floor we used Black Plywood for the cabinetry and a big chunky end grain Jarrah butchers block to match the beautiful recycled Jarrah floors. With amazing city views, this apartment has a real inner city, New York loft apartment feel.
